While the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album has been a fascinating and competitive award for the past several years, this year might be the most competitive I've ever seen, possibly even resulting in some wacky nominees.  I also discussed multiple news stories and two interesting Grammy questions I have considered this year.

In the wake of Covid, many have questioned whether it is safe to hold music festivals.  However, while most focus on the health, safety, and business aspects of this, I ponder whether they should due to the number of artists cancelling their tours.  I also introduce a new segment where I give quick updates related to several news stories.

In the Billboard Top 200 the week of September 11th, Turnstile's third album debuted at 30, which was their first album to chart.  In this episode, I discussed their sudden rise in popularity.  I also discussed the top 200 competition between Drake and Iron Maiden, the latest news with Britney Spears' conservatorship, the passing of Lee "Scratch" Perry, and a lawsuit against Nickelback.

My sister, Meaghan, is back again, and to celebrate her finishing the Bar Exam for law school, we play a game called the Music Bar.  We also discuss topics such as Bonnaroo being cancelled, what festival is trying to book ABBA next year, whether electronic artists should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and more.  I also discuss a questionable collaboration on Kanye's new album and some disasters going on in the world.

On August 24th, Charlie Watts, best known as the drummer of the Rolling Stones, passed away at the age of 80.  I discussed him and his impact in music.  I also gave yet another update related to DaBaby, a twist in the Tory Lanez shooting Megan Thee Stallion incident, a potential lawsuit regarding a classic album cover, and a reiteration of a podcast recommendation.

In this episode, I discuss a few news stories before discussing a few topics that have been on my mind lately.

Over the past couple months, there have been several instances of famous and notable individuals who are either accused of sexual crimes or have updates related to previous accusations or cases.  I discuss several individuals, including the hirings of Chauncey Billups and Jason Kidd, Bill Cosby's release from prison, Drake Bell's trial, and accusations against Diplo.  With several instances of this, I fear that we are taking a step back in the Me Too movement.
