Today my beautiful guest is Natalia Tabilo, who is a body Positive yoga teacher, journalist and founder of Yoga for all bodies.
I don't know about you, but when I first thought about sharing my yoga practice online, I was met with so much fear and anxiety. Because my body isn't perfect and I definitely had so many issues around my body image and that my body didn't seem to do what I saw online when I googled yoga. When I started out I also never wanted to use any props, because I thought of that as cheating! And I know I'm definitely not alone in this.
Throughout my journey, so often, I would hear someone say that they cant do yoga, because they're not flexible enough, or not fit enough or whatever!
That's why I'm so excited to introduce you to today's guest, who is out there to share this message that
you don't have to be thin, strong, young, or flexible to live and own your practice!
In today's episode we talk about:
Natalia's yoga journey, her first experiences and what it brought in her life,
How she experienced that even classes that were labeled as 'beginner' classes wasn't all inclusive or offered for everyone,
And we talk about what she learned from these experiences and planted the seed for what is today 'Yoga for all Bodies'.
She tells us about her experience with her first Yoga Teacher Training,
How she created and found all kinds of different variations to accommodate everyone,
And how giving variations empowers her students to take control of their own practice and have more freedom.
We talk about the props she used and how it enhances your experience
And finally, more details about how she came to create her Masterclasses and trainings.
