Want to find out how to create daily email content, without going crazy? Listen in for some tips.
Finding inspiration to create daily email content isn’t that hard, once you realize what makes your clients open their inbox in the first place. Here are a 3 marketing tips to get you started.
What’s New in Your Clients’ Lives?
A unique way to connect with clients came from fabric designer Robert Allen, who created a Google Doc and asked clients to update it weekly with personal stories. He then connected those anecdotes to topics he wanted to cover each week. The personal touch made each of his emails more engaging and unique – which was a winning combination.
Produce Ideas through Podcasts
If a client or someone you like in your industry was interviewed on a podcast, play it for inspiration and ideas. Mention what you learned from the podcast in your email, including their interests and challenges. Chances are, you have more than one subscriber who’s dealing with similar experiences.
Your Followers are Your Muses
One reason why we connect with each other on social media is to share ideas for our everyday lives, whether it’s a new blog to read, a new place to eat, or an innovative way to promote our business. Find topics that generate the most interest on your followers’ feeds and use them as ideas for your next email. It’s a simple way to scale your creativity without getting writer’s block.

Want to stay on top of the latest trends in SEO? Listen to these 3 SEO Marketing tips to improve your website’s ranking.
The latest marketing trends in SEO can enhance your content marketing strategy, but not if you aren’t open to finding out what they are or taking action. Let’s dive in to see how to improve your website’s ranking.
1. Become a Lifeline for Prospective Customers
Share content about common questions related to your business. When prospective customers search online, your FAQs and content on your website should tell them everything they need to know. When you become a lifeline for a prospective customer, they’ll return when they’re ready to buy.
2. Update Pronouns to Keywords
Search engines will analyze your content to determine if it’s relevant, but using too many pronouns like “they” or “us” won’t tell search engines what your content is about. Replace excessive pronouns with more descriptive keywords or keyword phrases to appear in more search results.
3. Connect with Industry Leaders
Promote your content, link to high quality websites, and tag industry leaders to attract their attention. Networking doesn’t have to be in person. Connect, like their posts, be helpful, and support them in a genuine way. At some point after engaging, you can ask them to guest blog for your site and the gesture may be reciprocated.

On Instagram and want to hide your number of likes? Here’s how to do it and some insight why they’re making the change.
Why Instagram is Hiding Likes and How to Do it
It’s official. Instagram is now giving you the ability to hide “likes” so users can concentrate on feeling good about creating content instead of feeling anxious when a post isn’t popular. Why the change?
I think it’s about both. Improving the user experience, keeping people on the platform longer, and have them engage, without feeling bad or judged for their content. What’s bad to one is perfectly acceptable to another.

Your “About Us” page can be a customer’s first impression of your business. Here are some marketing tips to make it great.
1. It’s not “about” you, it’s about your customers. This might seem ironic, but it’s key. People want to know how they can benefit from your business. So, tell them about the great things they can gain and accomplish, with your help.
2. Know your target audience. Seems like a no-brainer, but understand who you’re trying to reach, what they want, what their goal is, and what they value. In the end, you’re a problem solver.
3. Share your values. Consumers want to support companies that share their beliefs. So, let them know what they are. Include a mission statement or an environmental statement, or your viewpoint on diversity and inclusion—something your target audience will appreciate.
4. Keep it brief. Don’t ramble about your backstory. If it’s too lengthy, people will get bored and stop reading. A little bit of boring is good for downtime, but not on your ‘About page’.
5. Keep your user in mind. Key things to remember, branding, appearance and organization are important on your website. If your ‘About page’ is hard to navigate, people might hit the delete button, before they even start to read.
You don’t want that to happen, do you?

Tired of posting articles on LinkedIn? Why not try video ads to capture your target audience’s attention? Here are some tips.
3 Video Marketing Tips for Better LinkedIn Ads
1. Create a video demo with an offer. People are searching LinkedIn for new ideas and are always interested to see how a product or service performs. And video ads that showcase a demo typically have a higher engagement and click through rates. For best results, experiment with an offer, like $200 off with this code or your first month free – and use the special offer or deal in your headline.
2. Add animation to your video ad. Motion captures people’s attention, so when you add animation to your compelling brand story, you’ll get even more engagement. Not sure how to do that? Test drive Biteable, an online video maker that uses stock footage and photos to give you professional, studio quality animation. You’ll love their templates, they’re easy to use, and you can customize to your brand personality and colors.
3. Keep copy simple and use captions. Nearly 80% of LinkedIn viewers watch video without the sound on, so keep your audio to one track. And it’s best to keep your copy simple and catchy. Two to three sentences. Captions and banners will also help to grab someone’s attention. If the sound were off, is your message loud and clear? What about your call-to-action and a CTA button?
Video ads whether for LinkedIn or YouTube need to be short, catchy, and understood without sound. Remember that most video is watched on a mobile device and even if someone has headphones, they read captions if they’re intrigued. If not, they’ll quickly move on.

If you’re in business, you’re in sales and if you don’t have sales, you might as well close up shop. Every small business owner will tell you that their industry has a particular way they market their products and services, and prospect for new clients. But, if you’re prospecting for gold on a barren or deserted island, it’s probably less effective than being in front of your ideal clients online and offline, solving their problems, and offering value.
Don’t get sucked into thinking you need every kind of marketing that’s out there. Every business is different.
To cut the learning curve, think about a customized online and offline marketing plan that’s based on your company’s vision, your situation, your industry and where you are and where you want to go.
Every day I hear stories of small business owners who get talked into marketing strategies and ad spends that waste valuable resources, time, and stab the human spirit. We forget that we evolve just like our businesses.
