Or an employee (and most business owners do indeed treat their businesses like a job or — worse — a hobby).

Great advice for things you can’t control (yeah, I’m a Stoic — sue me).

But terrible advice for things you CAN.

It's Sunday...

... and the day I traditionally neglect to go to church (and have done for the last 2,822 Sundays).

Anyway... yesterday it was politics; today it's religion.

I find the whole idea of religion bizarre.

Still, you're free to believe what you want to believe, so long as you don't expect me to respect your dumb beliefs just because they're "religious" and get a special pass.

No belief deserves respect; the PEOPLE who have them do (assuming they're not arseholes as individuals), but the beliefs themselves are abstract concepts (and are often just plain distasteful, stupid, or flat wrong).

Whatever.
