Paul is concerned for the wellbeing of believers. He wants the best for us, to prosper spiritually. And he is concerned that we might be taking on board false teaching. He is concerned that we don't on board worldly traditions. He is concerned that we may be trusting in worldly wisdom. Instead, he wants us to be rooted in Christ, and Christ alone.
