In this episode of In Your Favor, I’m sharing a life update and birthday reflection on what has easily been one of the most refining years of my life.

From dealing with depression and discomfort in my home to preparing to leave the city I built a life in, this year has been one long reminder that sometimes God won’t let you get comfortable where you’re no longer meant to stay.

Through it all, He gave me one word: panning — the process of shaking and sifting to reveal what’s truly valuable. And that’s exactly what this season has been. A shaking. A separating. A revealing of the gold that’s been there all along.
