But there is reason for hope and National Geographic's Explorer-In-Residence Dr. Sylvia Earle joins Conor to lay out why she's bullish on the future of the ocean and of the Blue economy. A world-renowned oceanographer and Founder of Mission Blue, Dr. Earle brings 86 years of experience to bear to explain the problems that plague the oceans, how we can fix them, and the inter-related nature of these challenges with the broader climate crisis. Her new book National Geographic Ocean: A Global Odyssey is out now.
