Proverbs 16:20-21
Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be happy. The wise are known for their understanding, and instruction is appreciated if it’s well presented.
Instruction for the hour in which we have found ourselves is right here around us. Often we cannot see it, or understand that wisdom is helping us day by day to journey through our grief, but it truly is!
When we look back at history and how it has shaped each nation, in the many lands and seas... we clearly see history’s fingerprints in cities, roads, bridges, technologies, machineries and engines, planes, trains, boats, cars, buses, and a myriad of thousands of ways that our lives now run smoother, because of a past generation who worked everyday to better life for us all.
Our history books are filled with heroes and villains who chiseled their personal life stories into everyday life for us all now. Each nation has it’s role models of the past, some to the good, and some to the bad of the varied legacies of different cultures and lifestyles. Some help us to put up boundaries to protect our lives and others help us to explore the talents we discover along the way.
