Let's listen to the central message on what Christmas is all about - Jesus.

Luke 2:8-20 says, "And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."  Today we listen to the angels important message to receive and to give. 

Luke 2:8, says, "In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night."  Why would Christ appear to outcast of society instead to kinds and queens?  Maybe because the message of the gospel is for all to hear.

Luke 2:11 says, "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Bethlehem was not your typical destination city.  So why would a king chose this place to be born?  Today, let us go into the text and discover the meaning of our second candle: The Bethlehem Candle.
