In episode 3, I’m joined by Emma (she/her). Emma is a first time mum to her toddler, living in Naarm with her partner of over 10 years. Before becoming a mum, Emma studied psychology and worked in academia doing social research. During her final trimester, she spent time planning for the fourth trimester. We talk about the ways she implemented this, as well as breastfeeding and oversupply issues, her baby's torticollis, challenges with sleep, the positive experiences with her mother’s group, making friends as a parent, and the relationship and identity changes she experienced in this transition.
