Art of Suffering Show Notes: Episode 14

Sometimes when we don’t know who we are, we can’t ever come to terms with who God is. Living a false narrative of what the world perceives us to be is much easier than the transformation that leads to becoming who Christ created us to be. As a young husband and father, I got so caught up being the main character in the story I was writing that I failed to realize I was just the supporting cast in the one God was. It became clear in the midst of my “yes” to the cross that what I did in this life didn’t define who I was now or will be in the next. This is the journey of how a young husband and father grew to understand that redemptive suffering in and through Jesus Christ is the only path one can take to achieve personal holiness. (Mat. 7:13-14)
