This has been a persistent question I have asked myself since my grief journey began, the waves of grief come crashing in when we least expect it; that is our love for our loved one. Lately, I have journaled on this question, dug into the Bible and asked God, what does it really mean to be well with my soul? Even if I am still sad and miss my loved one, can I still be well? Please join me on today's episode with Growth Refined. Glad you are here, friend.

Its an honor for me to introduce you to my new friend, Megan. Megan is from a small town in the midwest married to her high school sweetheart with three beautiful girls. Megan's faith is un-shattering, unwavering and such an inspiration to all of us. Please tune in to this week's episode as we hear of her daughter Margarett's story in battling with cancer, and her own faith in Jesus Christ. It was my pleasure having the conversation that I did with Megan, learning about who Margarett was, and who she continues to be through everyone that was touched by her spirit.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only begotten son that whoever believes in Him may not perish but have eternal life."
Support Megan's family by donating to the fund Margarett Strong to support others who are battling similar journeys like Margarett's.<<
Join me today as I speak on the book of Lamentations, what the author is speaking about and what the book fully means. As there is so much anguish, trials and tribulations that you may be facing, just as the Israelites had during this time in the Bible; we can have hope in our God of the Universe because of His love for us. Thank you for pausing in the moments of your day and pushing play. My goal is to reach as many people as possible with the message of hope in God's love for you.
Lamentations 3: 17-33
Please have an open mind and grace for this episode! There was no pre-mediation or pre-study before going into the study. My new good friend Danielle and I are going through the stories of the Old testament together, learning and growing. I hope you are able to relate as we reflect from the context of the storyline, on the decisions and choices that Joseph in this story made.
I apologize ahead of time for the 'dinging' that I could not figure out how to shut off, and my wonderful husband cooking in the background. I do not have a studio...YET. :)
Follow with us, Genesis 47! God Bless-You are chosen, you were created for such a time as this and YOU ARE WORTHY!
God has a way so much so, that his love for us is in the fine details, always working two steps ahead. If you believe you know what is best for you, I challenge you otherwise. I have found over the past years, and I am reminded each day that I do not know whats best for me. Sometimes you have to step into the awkwardness, the uncomfortable, to stretch yourself and grow. Soul connections are just what we are needing besides the love of God, first and foremost. Tune in!
Paj is welcomed as my first honorary guest on the show! Paj "Pa" has a wonderful heart and we crossed paths due to our common ground of child loss. We share in many enduring things, not just with family but also with Christ Jesus. Paj shares her testimony of her own child loss, her faith and how she can inspire you to live your life fully along side grief.
Brought up in the show is the Non-profit organization: Walk With You that help with child loss in many ways. If you are in need or know someone who is in need of assistance, you can apply. You can find this organization on FaceBook, IG and their website, https://www.walkwithyounonprofit.org/.
Also Paj published a childrens book about how we as children and adults can live by missing a loved one in heaven, called "When you think of me" by Liabeth Goldbeck. Walk with me as I read through my journal landing today on day six since my son's incident. I pray that his story and our families story inspires you to look towards the cross. Gods mercy is endless, and his faithfulness is awe striking. He is a God who loves us and never leaves our side through it all. Hope you enjoy and again, are inspired by Who our God is.
