(John 15 with Galatians 5)

•In John 15, Jesus establishes a clear order for spiritual life and growth. He presents a structure in which fruit is expected, measured, and cultivated.

• Fruit does not stand alone; it is the outcome of rightly ordered relationships. A vine(Jesus) supplies life, branches(Believers) receive and express and manifest that life, and the vine dresser (God) governs the process

so that the intended result is achieved.

• Jesus identifies Himself as the Vine, Believers as the branches, and the Father as the Vine Dresser. This framework teaches that spiritual fruitfulness is neither

automatic nor accidental. It flows from dependence,

responsiveness, and divine oversight.

• Results and growth will not be automatic in 2026.

• We must be dependent on Holy Spirit working a deep

work in us.

• We must be responsive to the discipline and

instructions, and we must allow our lives to be under scrutiny of the eye of the Lord.

• The branch does not generate life on its own; it must remain rightly positioned to receive what the Vine

supplies.- We don’t walk with God in our own strength

• Jesus then introduces a distinction that must be taken seriously: there are branches that bear fruit and branches that do not, and both are connected to the same Vine.
