Rico Gomez is a Mental Health & Brain Change High Performance Coach, based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Rico has worked with All Blacks, NRL players, professional coaches, corporate executives, and everyday human beings through his business NeuroFit.
NeuroFit and their 1:1 coaching programme "Help clear the mental mess to become mentally fit." Rico aims and does get real results in a few weeks compared to the usual months or years seen in other methods of mental health practice.
Happily married now, but it was not always like that. Rico and his wife suffered from anxiety and depression in their first year of marriage - this led Rico to study neuroscience and mental health in between leading a 9-5 job.
With none of the usual 'self-help' stuff working: exercise, eating healthy, meditation, cold immersion. It took a frank conversation with his father to kick him into gear. "If you don't have a battle to fight, you won't have a victory to win."
Rico chose to dive into his demons, suffering and trauma to discover the underlying reasons for his depression, and from this he has developed a 21 day programme so others can work through their suffering and depression and become mentally fit.

Suicide in rural New Zealand is higher than any other demographic having a lasting ripple effect through a community - especially with our young people, who are often the largest statistic.
Elle Perriam is unlike anyone I have met in my short time here on earth. Her partner at the time, Tim was lost to suicide at the raw age of 20. Being told her and her loved ones needed to wait 8 weeks for public counselling or any psychological help, Elle realised she needed to change things for the rural community. Growing up on the West Coast and in the deep south of New Zealand, Elle understands and loves rural life deeply.
Her charity, Will to Live is born and since then she has travelled across NZ to get rural people speaking up about their mental-health and traumas, to begin the healing process surrounded by their own community.
From the Shemozzle to Bark Ups at local pubs, Elle has taken it upon herself to not only work through her own trauma but help others do the same.
We speak about her story, how she got to where she is right now across the 5 areas of holistic health and how you to can work from within to find growth.

Brad and I had the pleasure of speaking with Spirit-led Female Business Coach - Lauren Hill.
Instagram:
- Lauren Hill
- Camp Wondergirl
Straight from Lauren's BRAND NEW website -- "I empower spirit-led lady leaders who feel overwhelmed starting a business by providing Motivational Mentorship, Beautiful Branding, Soul-aligned Strategy, & Phenomenal Photography so that they can monetise their magic and shine online with alignment, ease and joy."
Lauren shared her upbringing and how she came to discover the amazing feminine power the female being has. Both useful for men and women, Lauren is a testament to deciding on a path of fulfilment and going at it 100 miles an hour.
We learnt a lot from this conversation, and I hope you do too.
