In this week's premium episode we're joined by the pseudonymous employment expert Finn O'Shawnessy to talk job getting tips (tip #1 Lie!). It's a wide-ranging discussion but full of useful tips - so we opened it for all y'all.

This week we're discussing billionaire hedge fund trader Steven A. Cohen in particular and the hedge fund industry in general. There are two types of hedge funds: those that fail to beat the market and those that trade on illegal inside information. Steve Cohen's hedge fund SAC Capital managed to produce 30% average returns per year over 20 years after fees. Guess which category he fell in to. Hear about his life, his legal tribulations, his day time talk show appearances, and about whether US financial markets even come close to the standards of being a place for free and fair exchange.

On this episode we dive into the billionaire making the world thinner by reinventing the corset Sara Blakely. Listen up as we let you in on how hounding the executives at Nieman Marcus, for over a week, and sending a basket of her goods to Oprah helped create a woman who eventually named her son Lazer. That’s right Lazer, and if you are looking for Sean’s ASMR goodness we are severely lacking this episode due to his absence. Tune in and tune out you got Grubstakers on the dial.

On this week we cover some of the billionaires that make New York city unlivable. From using mob tactics to detenant buildings, and charging more for amenities that were court ordered, as well as the shady practices of real estate moguls of New York city who have taken advantage of all legal loopholes to make as much money possible. If you enjoy this episode consider joining our Patreon where we will further discuss how landlords continue to ruin the lives of upstanding citizens.
