Power of the Resurrection

Luke 23:44 - 24:12

Kendra Musser

Father Forgive Them

Luke 22:66 - 23

Steve Goble

This sermon, preached on March 26th, 2023 by Kendra Musser, talks of three parables from Jesus. These three parables are of a shepherd finding his lost sheep, a woman finding her lost coin, and a lost son returning to his father. Each of these parables all share one common theme, which Jesus followed upon with his various miracles and teachings. That God looks out for all, even the sinner or the weary.

Counting the Cost

Luke 14

Debbie Henne

The sermon preached on March 12th, 2023. It details the disobedience of the Israelites upon hearing the report on Canaan's forces; as well as Moses' disobedience in Numbers. Here, we try to understand God's retribution in both instances and how its justified by his holiness.

I Am Who I Am, A Name Like No Other

Exodus 34, Numbers 13

Dwayne Musser

The sermon preached on February 26, 2023.

It details the time Moses went up Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments. While on the mountain, Israel, growing impatient, establish a false god in the form of a golden calf. The wrath of God is ignited while Moses tries to calm him; reminding him that these people are his people. After the storm is settled, Moses returns to Mount Sinai and, though initially set with an angel, asks God to go with him. This leads us to the sermon's question "what will distinguish you?" and its answer.

Lyrics:

I stand before the oppressor

Who wants to keep me in chains

I'll say, "My God is a God of freedom

Don't underestimate His strength"

I hear that boast of the tyrant

Seein' my back's to a wall

He drew a sword thinking it was over

Guess he don't know my God at all

Freedom, freedom

By the power of His mighty hand

Freedom, freedom

Got me running to the promised land

Freedom, freedom

Pharaoh hear the Lord's command

Freedom, freedom (freedom)

He walked me right through that red sea

Drowning the army behind

He goes before me with strength and mercy

And He's never lost a single fight, no

Freedom, freedom

By the power of His mighty hand

Freedom, freedom

Got me running to the promised land

Freedom, freedom

Pharaoh hear the Lord's command

Freedom, freedom

Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh

Pharaoh!

Hey Pharaoh!

Fear let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go

Worry let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go

Shame let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go

Pain let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go

Freedom, freedom

By the power of His mighty hand

Freedom, freedom

Got me running to the promised land

Freedom, freedom

Pharaoh hear the Lord's command

Freedom, freedom, hey

Fear let my people go

Let my people go

Worry let my people go

Let my people go

Shame let my people go

Let my people go

Pain let my people go

Let my people go

Depression let my people go

Let my people go

Addiction let my people go

Let my people go

Division let my people go

Let my people go

Devil let my people go

Pharaoh let my people go!
