They are still making Saw films for some reason. In the latest iteration of no intellectual property being too overdone, Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson team up for ‘Spiral: From the Book of Saw’. Next Rich takes a look at a film based on true events, ‘Profile’ which tells the story of a journalist attempting to catfish a terrorist recruiter. Things get a little messed up if you couldn’t guess. Completing the triple play of horror/thriller, Rich then talks about the first foreign language film to be featured on the podcast, ‘The Unthinkable’. This Swedish film has the compelling premise of all internet, phone and tv networks going down at the same time. Finally, as theaters claw their way back to profitability, Rich takes a look at the years where the month of May grossed over a billion dollars in hopes that will be the case a year from now.
