The Wankel Rotary engine is one of the most iconic engines to date. In our first GTN Story, Alex takes you through the complete history of the engine from its conception to its death.

Alex and Bentley discuss what the best front-wheel drive car is. They come up with some of their own conclusions, but also turn to you guys for your opinions. The final conclusion is quite a surprise, so certainly worth waiting for. 

Before that though, they discuss some of the latest motoring news. This includes the fact that Hennessey won't be putting a V8 in the new Ford GT, a 76-year old built himself an 800bhp supercar, and Ford did something stupid with their Ranger.

What is the most overrated car in the world? That's what the boys are discussing today. They answer questions from listeners and discuss what the answers you guys sent to them. 

They also discuss the latest motoring news which consists of stupid things being done by Donald Trump, the GR-1 Concept starting production, and a new Toyota/Subaru MR2.

In this weirdly long episode, Alex and Bentley discuss the week's news which includes the official arrival of the Toyota Supra and Shelby GT500 Mustang. The big question of the episode is however, what is the greatest British car. 

The boys came up with a few options of their own, then consulted you, the listeners.

Amazon has released an overview for the first episode of The Grand Tour so Alex, Liam and Bentley discuss the plan of the episode. Specifically, how The Grand Tour trio are going to Detroit with three American muscle cars with the aim to bring back the sound of the V8 to the original Motor City. They touch upon the McLaren Senna that Clarkson will be driving, and discuss the first Senna crash in Essex, UK. 

Next, they discuss The Grand Tour Game, which is coming to the Xbox One and PS4. Are they looking forward to playing it? Listen to the Podcast and find out.  

To round off the Podcast, Bentley brings up a 2004 Pontiac GTO which had been modified to look like a Lamborghini Aventador. I think it's safe to say the team found it quite amusing.

The Genovation GXE Corvette is entirely electric but features a manual transmission. Alex, Liam and Bentley discuss how incredible the car is, albeit expensive, but also how it could change the future of electric cars. Could a manual electric car be what the petrolhead needs?

Next, we discuss the incredible sound of the Aston Martin Valkyrie and its 11,000rpm Cosworth V12. We include an audio clip just in case you haven't heard it. 

We finish the news segment with a story from Bentley. He talks us through the drama that occurred during the transport of a giant Santa. We thin it's safe to say you'll love it and will be laughing as much as the trio were. 

We end the GTN Podcast with a roundup of the greatest cars of 2018. The boys asked you guys what you thought was he best car of the year, then discuss they're personal favourites. I think you'll be surprised at what they chose their favourites to be!

In the first GTN Podcast, Alex, Liam and Bentley discuss Jaguar's new mid-engined hybrid supercar called the J-Type. Specifically, they discuss whether building a supercar is the right way to go for Jaguar, especially if it replaces the existing F-Type. And there's an intriguing possibility in the  J-Type's future.

Next, the boys talk about an astonishing barn find. We won't ruin what it is, but it's safe to say that you'll be extremely jealous. 

Up next, they discuss a new Chinese decoration in the shape of a traffic light with not 3, not even 5, but over 20 lights on a single pole. Confused? Not nearly as confused as they are! this leads them on to pot holes and the ingenious ways people try to cover them up (or bring attention to them).

The final discussion of the episode revolves around the German racetrack, the Nurburgring. If Alex, Liam, and Bentley were given £5,000 to buy something to race at the Green Hell, what would they choose and why. We think you'll be surprised with the outcome!
