Amanda Davis grew up in a small farming community in Alberta, Canada. She graduated from Utah State University with a communications degree and a minor in Sociology. She and her husband have 3 children, her oldest getting ready to serve a mission this summer. She loves all things that involve the outdoors and adventure. One of her favorite things to do is travel with her family. Her family raises horses, she loves the youth and the gospel!

Amanda has had the opportunity to attend meetings at the United Nations both in the United States and abroad. Her experiences at the United Nations deepened her resolve to defend the family at a time when it was becoming unpopular to do so and strengthened her commitment to look at all cultural shifts and trends through the lens of the gospel. She started her Instagram account, @ChristianOverCultrue because she wanted to help be a voice of truth and encourage people to look at all things “Culture” through a gospel lens.

Andre Polonski, also known as Andre the Deliverer, lives in Ukraine. He is only 40km from the border with Russia, so the war is literally in his backyard. Andre chose to stay when many others left as the war started. He owns a food delivery business where he works 2 days a week. He spends the rest of his week delivering food to people in need and running family days and English classes at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cori Robinson is a wife and mom of 5. She's a former clothing designer, a current lifestyle content creator and designer, and a compulsive maker. She's happiest when she's making something, whether its a loaf of bread, a dress or a pleated lampshade. Her goal in life and business is to inspire others to create intentional homes that are not only beautiful but are a place their family loves to be. Lita Merrell is from Calgary, Canada. She and her husband have been married for 7 years, and they have two adorable daughters. In July 2022 she started a business as a certified pediatric sleep consultant, and also moved to Tucson, Arizona for her husband to complete his PhD in Political Science. Moving to another country was more of a shock than she anticipated, and she fell hard into anxiety and fear. She was having panic attacks daily (if they ever ended at all) and she used that fear to dive deeper into faith than she ever had before. She loves the gospel more than I could ever describe. Skyler Sorensen grew up in St. George, UT as the 4th of 8 children. He is an active Latter-day Saint, gay, and married to his beautiful wife Amanda in a mixed-orientation marriage. He graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s in Media Arts and has always gravitated toward using creative avenues to promote his beliefs. He created and co-hosts the podcast “Sit Down with Sky and Preston”, dedicated to defending gospel principles through the lens of LGBTQ issues. The podcast will be switching to “Sit Down with Sky and Manda” for their new season, where Sky’s wife, Amanda, will join him as cohost.

Skyler and Amanda have 2 children. Their first son, Milo, was born in August 2019 at 24 ½ weeks. After a few weeks of battling for his life in the NICU, he passed away in Amanda’s arms. After battling with infertility after Milo’s death, their daughter, Remi, was born in January of 2022 and is spoiled beyond belief.

They live in Utah County, and Skyler currently works as a video editor for American Heritage Schools, editing videos for an evolving online curriculum for children K-12.

He has a firm belief in the Restoration of Christ’s church and a strong testimony of Jesus Christ in his role as Savior and Redeemer. He has a deep desire to explain simply the importance of living gospel principles, no matter your life circumstances.

Emma grew up in Logan, UT as the youngest of six children. She has been married to her incredible husband for seven years and they have beautiful, spunky twin girls, a curious, sweet boy, and a dog named Max (who they joke is their firstborn). They live on a little farm in the Wasatch mountains and love to do everything outdoors. She can't keep a plant alive, even the "low maintenance ones'', for the life of her but still somehow believes she can every Spring. She loves the rain, mountains, shoes, dad jokes, bacon, hot air balloons, and pranks and prefers to keep things real. She started the Instagram account, Po-her-ful, to spread the goodness of God's power and encourage women to grow their love for God's temples.

Sarah married her husband, Tom, in 2010 and they have 5 children. She is a business owner, YouTuber, Blogger, Licensed Esthetician, and former Birth Doula. Sarah and Tom began building a farm with their babies in order to help them learn the value of work and to ground themselves from the busyness of the world. Her company, The Dainty Pear Co., includes a kitchen line and her cookbooks: “Grounded: Feel-good, Real Food,” and “Grounded: Holidays.” On her blog and various channels, she talks about her passion of Home, Food, and Worship. Carrian Cheney and her husband are the husband-and-wife team behind the popular Oh, Sweet Basil food blog that shares recipes with a few million monthly readers. Carrian grew up in Washingon state and loves fresh, farm to table ingredients and healthy eating, with a side of indulgence of course. She is the mother to 3 children and is learning a lot about balance as she seeks to stay involved with the blog while still maintaining a peaceful and fun home with her family.

Cade and Carrian began the Oh, Sweet Basil blog in 2008 as a way to share their recipes, stories, and to promote their philosophy that spending time together in the kitchen is about more than the meal.

Today you get to meet a very special person- my grandma Margene Lindsay! Grandma is a true Guardian of Perseverance, Enduring to the end, and Family. This interview took place on a surprise visit in April of 2022, where she reminded me that I had told her I wanted to do an interview with her. She was so tickled to tell her stories and had them ready to go. This is equal parts selfish for sharing this piece of family history, but I feel like the world needs to know the goodness and wisdom of this beautiful 92 ½ year old. Love you grandma!
