Returning for another year, the second edition of SEGA Knowledge Showdown is now its own standalone show and the stakes have never been higher. Three teams, more questions and a whole lot of fun await as you relive what happened in 2021 in terms of SEGA games and music.
Battling it out in this ‘SEGAducational’ quiz are Greyfore’s TEAM HIDDEN PALACE featuring Skyblaze and Last Minute Continue‘s Kevin. They’re going up against INeedFruit’s TEAM MILK PEOPLE with Shenmue Dojo‘s SkillJim and Gum as well as LimeReversed’s TEAM ZESTY with LongKarlUK and SEGA’s own Marta.
Is it possible to be too old to be a Sonic fan? After so many years in the fandom at The Sonic Show and Sonic Cage Dome, as well as being involved in community endeavours like Summer of Sonic, The Opinion Zone‘s Jay Egge Mann is starting to have doubts.
Sat by a warm fireplace, drinking mulled wine – okay he isn’t but he’d like to be – Jay puts out an SOS to old friends SonicpoX and Kevin to see what they think of his personal festive midlife crisis.
It’s been a little while since Darkspeeds has hit the air, he’s been so busy there’s plenty to talk about. Well, since we’ve got to catch up with him, we might as well catch-up with everybody.
So along with Darkspeeds we’ve also got Vger, Chemb0t, Foreversonic and even Dartanian.

It’s a very exciting edition of The Tally-Ho Show as we are joined by our first special guest – Kevin Eva from Last Minute Continue joins us for Episode 03 to discuss LMC and his own personal gaming history.
Topics for the week include sports games throughout the years and what were our finest memories playing video games of the sports that we know and love. Plus should eSports be made an Olympic event? What classical games would we like to see be made in a virtual reality style world?
Plus The Throne of Games and more amazing tunes for you to listen to as well.

In this four part episode, the Square Enix London Studios team clarify how creating the game is balanced between n-Space and SELS and who does what. Discuss game length, levelling, technical limits and new avenues for the 3DS with the circle pad peripheral.
There are also two interviews with representatives from both SPOnG and Blistered Thumbs, who reveal their opinions on the game from both a first and second play perspective.
All this as well as confirming new game world details and the Wall of Champions is finally revealed!
The triforce of Gavvie, Titans Creed and AAUK are joined by Tall-Guy91 for more fun and games this week, as they try and discuss SEGA news, but inevitably get side-tracked…
Jay Egge Mann from Sonic Cage Dome wondered one day why no one had actually discussed with Kevin his SEGA history. So this happened! The first in a series discussing the ‘early days’ of the Sonic The Hedgehog online community and the people that shaped it – and when it comes to working at SEGA wasn’t all green hills and loop-de-loops. In fact some days it was somewhere between Toxic Caves and Gaslighting Zone.
“Kevin truly has done it all. Created one of the first Sonic fan sites? Started up one of the first Sonic fan podcasts? Built a media depository used by SEGA themselves? Took his passion as a fan and made it into a job working for SEGA repping Sonic the Hedgehog? Yep, he’s done it ALL. But has it been a journey just of highs, and where has it all led to this point today? We discuss all this (plus how SEGA tried to sue him of course) starting from the very early days of Sonic on the internet!”
Donnie aka SSF1991 joins the SEGAbits Swingin’ Report Show podcast to discuss his work with sites in the SEGA and Sonic community that include Sonic Paradox, TSSZ and The Sonic Stadium. We talk about Donnie’s early days as a SEGA fan, how he became a writer covering live events and breaking SEGA and Sonic news stories, and the final days of TSSZ.
Season 2 of T-Time begins with a guest: Urtheart. Would either of them be suitable for high office? Well one of them is a pirate, so probably not.
RadioSEGA’s Summer Shakeup sees the host and shows shuffled for some one off fun, and for Kevin that means finally getting to take over The Hidden Palace, which he was denied during a chaotic Opposite Week episode of Radio Redux. But he’s here to take things seriously, and that means a Skyblaze-style deep dive into a game many likely know little about: SEGA and Bizarre Creations’s title The Club.
