At 41 years old, while traveling through Europe, Theresa had her aha moment: if she didn’t change course, her weight gain would soon rob her of the life she wanted to live. That realization sparked a journey of resilience, self-discovery, and transformation.

Theresa opens up about her lifelong struggle with food, body image, and yo-yo dieting—and how she ultimately lost 200 pounds and learned to maintain it. From the painful mixed messages she received about food growing up, to the harsh reality of “I simply can’t eat as much as other people,” she shares the truths she had to face in order to build a sustainable way of living.

With the help of a nutritionist and weight loss therapist, Theresa embraced balance over perfection. She learned to silence food “noise,” practice the 3-bite rule, and create her own plan instead of chasing fads. Today, she focuses on movement she enjoys, cutting out added sugar, and making choices that support her health long-term.

Her story is a powerful reminder that everyone’s journey looks different—and that progress, not perfection, is what truly matters.
