Whatever a person plants that he will also reap. Tares are those terrible things we reap in life. However, we do not have to let the enemy plant a whole lot of evil in our life when it is hidden in Christ Jesus. When we deviate from our walk with Christ, the wicked one comes and plants tares or sin within us.

Mark 11:12-13 

12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
