A young man who grabbed a watch in the open market and stuffed it in his jeans was arrested and taken before a judge and charged with theft.  "How do you plead?" asked the judge.

Sir Thomas More used to tell about a friend who was an addicted gambler.  Concerned for him and his family, More used to plead with him to stop his gambling and start supporting his family.

We are quick to rejoice when the blessings are flowing from the storeroom of heaven! 

God made you in such a way that you can survive tremendous ordeals--illness, imprisonment, persecution, and privation.  You can live without food and water--far longer than you might think.

Our generation is not so sure, so confident, that God is our hope for years to come.
