About Guidelines Music
From the publisher's feed
Guidelines is the rebranded evolution of the iconic Guidance Music label, now fully under the creative direction of UK-based producer and artist Greg Hepworth, known professionally as Settle Down. After years of championing forward-thinking music under the Ulterior Motive banner, Guidelines marks the start of an exciting new chapter, with a sharp focus on Settle Down's distinctive sound—a blend of jungle, garage, breakbeat, and immersive basslines.
Incorporating elements of raw, high-energy breaks, skittering beats, and deep, atmospheric bass, Guidelines represents a refined yet experimental approach to underground dance music, drawing on years of experience in the scene. With a dedicated sound that resonates with fans of both classic and contemporary underground sounds, Guidelines is not just a record label—it’s a platform for the future of forward-thinking electronic music with a unique vision.
Set to capture the attention of music lovers and tastemakers alike, Guidelines is about both innovation and respect for the craft. Fans of jungle, garage, and breakbeat will find themselves right at home, with a label that continuously evolves without compromising on quality or authenticity. Keep an eye out for releases that push boundaries, champion fresh talent, and define the next wave of music for a generation of listeners who crave substance, style, and cutting-edge rhythms.
