Long partnerships are hard to understand when one of the partners departs for whatever reason. Undoubtedly we look at friends family and acquaintances very differently and they reciprocate.

I was watching a political correspondent interviewing Kamala Harris and I thought whilst they were gently sparring neither of them really gave a hoot - this was bread and butter to them. Just like some of the awful job interviews we all have experienced over the years - they still make my skin crawl thinking about them.

Another open ended phrase - forever hopeful - for what ? .. Do we sometimes expect too much, create too many expectations of life - I have no idea - but this is how it goes and seems to have been going for centuries and centuries.

Forever Hopeful - of maybe a better way - that seems unrealistic - to say the very least .
