Finally .. we're out of the rented house we've been living in for the last 2 years 11 months and 13 days (whose counting) ... and into another rented house ! Barring a total redecoration request from the very very reasonable landlord we may even get a bit of our deposit back .

The anticipation of anything seems to slow down time to almost a snails pace. We're moving house and the delightful landlord has requested a re-decorate of 1/2 the house. ( to be honest I was expecting much worse - so I feel I've got away lightly ). The time taken in doing a job that is entirely for his/her/their benefit drags on and on....

Part of the dementia thing ( and you can see already that I know very little) is that distant memories can become very clear and accurate whilst you can't recall what went on 10 minutes ago. I think I'd enjoy that - I have a feeling I had a very happy childhood
