The Israel/Hamas conflict goes on and Joe Biden is in there having a go - good for you Mr President.

There quite a lot of individuals who believe the planet revolves around their needs - they are just too good not to want to help ... This song is for them..

I am uneasy about retirement. I 'm not there yet - but people are starting to ask me " when are you retiring ? " . That means one of two things EITHER they want to get rid of me at work OR I look so old they think I should retire. 
I have absolutely no desire to stop being a general nuisance and irritation to everyone for a good few years yet.

Its all a bit despairing at the moment - but I hope by the time this episode comes out things will look a little more optimistic. ... you can but hope .

The ultimatum given by Israel for 1m people to move south has been in place over this weekend ( the 14th /15th October ) as the world watches in dismay. By the time this episode comes out we'll know the outcome. It doesn't bear thinking about.

After yesterdays despairing tune "On the Other Hand" this is a bit flippant - and I'm not sure its right to be flippant at times like these. 

But maybe treat it like any other dispute- talk about it - nothing is resolved by killing people.

My knowledge of Israel/Hamas conflict is lamentable and my understanding of the situation even worse. The slaughter, the loss of life and the life changing injuries ( horrible phrase ) is horrendous.

I came across two sufferers of memory loss this week - one on the radio, Billy Connolly ( now 80 ) and the second a 76 year  Australian gent with repercussions from an old injury now causing him memory issues. Brain Fog - the Hendrix E7#9 chord in there somewhere - Hendrix would be coming to his 81st birthday this November.

Immortality isn't that what we all crave - I'm not so sure. Those who grab the most - keep the most ? I'm not so sure either...
