This two-in-one GuitarCast features separate interviews with audio engineers Nelson Lugo and Tewell Gewargis. We talk about live sound, studio and home recording, and making a living as an audio guy.

Andy visits longtime friend, Ty Hughes, in Colorado to talk about his Denver-based live-EDM band Tnertle. Ty also reminisces about meeting Jack Black and music-directing at Red Rocks every year with the School of Rock Denver student band.

Andy's longtime friend and Phish concertgoer, Joe Polise, visits GuitarCast to talk about following Phish on their current Summer tour. Joe's been to nearly 150 Phish concerts and thinks they sound better than ever. In this episode we check in before and after both of the Phish shows at the L.A. Forum.

Violinist & Guitarist Connor Vance visits GuitarCast studios to talk about diversifying his songwriting as a means of creative outlet, reggae music and touring with The Dustbowl Revival.

Chelsea talks about how she got started apprenticing in notable guitar repair shops such as the Gibson shop in Nashville, TN and Dan Erlewine’s shop in Athens, OH.
