The most important software in producing music is a DAW. What are they and what do they do? We will discuss them trying to help you make your decision on which one to pick to invest your time and money on.

What is a compressor and how does it work? You may be using one  but do you really need it? A compressor will kill the dynamic range so why are they used so much?

Equalization or in short EQ is a process that is used extensively on every bit of audio since the invention of audio recording. EQ is in the heart of everything shaping and sculpting everything that you hear.

Delay and echo what's the difference? Digital or Analog delay which one is better?  Tape delay?  Modulation  or PingPong delay? What is that all about?
