For more than 70 years Naples resident Ben Alalouf has carried with him memories of being a child refugee, after he and his Jewish family spent three years in hiding, first in Albania, then in Italy, and eventually finding themselves in upstate New York. It was there Mr. Alalouf met a young girl named Seka, who was about 4 years older than him, while they were both living in a refugee camp in Oswego, New York.
