She will interview Representative Glenda Simmons-Jenkins of the Gullah/Geechee Nation Assembly of Representatives and the Gullah/Geechee Cultural Heritage Committee of North East Florida on this episode. They will discuss the celebrations that have taken place in the Gullah/Geechee Nation this fall and the ones that will close out the year. A special event honoring the ancestors is held each year in Florida entitled "Worship by the Sea." This year the event will also be followed by a special reception for Queen Quet in Jacksonville at the gallery of artist Adrian Pickett.
