Listen in as we chop it up with country artist Drew Parker on getting his first #1 as a songwriter, signing a major record deal in Nashville, hearing his own single "The Runway" on radio, and growing up living the Gullies life in Georgia.
Drew Parker has spent the past six years in Nashville grinding it out as a songwriter and building a career around being an artist and it is starting to pay off in a major way. Just in the last year, Parker toured with Luke Combs, landed a #1 as a writer with Jake Owen's "Homemade", became a father, signed a deal with Warner Nashville, landed two of his own singles "While You're Gone" and "The Runway" on the radio, and just found out that Luke Combs's next single to country radio will be another he co-wrote: "Forever After All". Parker is living life in the fast lane, but he still lives it up on his days off—fishing, hunting, and kicking back with some backyard corn-hole tournaments.
