Does it mean... a) to fester, b) to heap into a pile, or c) having or showing a tendency to be easily angered?!

Does it mean... a) the smallest element on the periodic table, b) a small subterranean insect, or c) a small sea snail? 

Does it mean... a) to take offense, b) to seek comfort, or c) to be distasteful?!

Does it mean... a) a phenomenon where people have a fear of doilies, b) a phenomenon where people see a likeness on random images, or c) a phenomenon where people collect large earthware vases?!

Does it mean... a) the usual calm particular to the sea b) a beauty that is more than skin deep, or c) a profound longing for something absent or lost?
