Recently, a domestic horror film called Apostles hit the big screen. Though the production company did a lot of promotion for the film, the box office is not quite high and it only gets 3.8 points from movie goers on Douban.

Many other Chinese horror films have the same destiny. Are Chinese just not very good at making horror movies?
