I remember it was a rainy day. I was travelling back to my home from the office. I could see that there were food stalls next to the traffic signal. There were people enjoying roadside delicacies, a few waiting for their cabs. As it was raining and it was a particular peak time for people to start leaving for their home, I didn’t get any cab or auto. After trying hard to book an auto or a cab I finally decided to walk home. While walking back home I saw my friends sitting at a coffee place on the roadside. Even after having an umbrella with me, I got drenched so I decided to join my friends. The coffee place had a glass wall from where you can have a view of the outside. I saw a boy wearing a faded black shirt, a soiled lower. He was running barefoot on the road. Looking for a path where the people standing on the roadside stalls enjoying their food. Unaware of the boy’s presence, the people continued to talk among themselves. A few people became irritated with his presence and tried to chase him away from the place. I could see the hunger in the boy's eye. He was looking for a chance to get some food for himself and for his family. I could see them sitting under a blue polythene sheet shade. That was protecting the family from the rain.

Zindagi mein kuch log hamei aise miltei hei jo hmare liye bilkul strangers hotei hein... but ek choti si journey mei woh hmari life ko itni sweet si memory dei kar chale jatei hein...

Shayad hum unse life mei kabhi na milei but whenever you remember that moment in your life, it is not complete without them. Aisa hi ek kissa meri train ki journey se juda hai. Aao iss sunday gupshup karti hai ki iss train ki journey ne mujhe aise do logo se milwaya jinhei aaj bhi mein har saal 13 January ko Yaad karti hoon and I pray that someday I could meet them.
