I was away from my equipment when I got a call on my mobile from 0438 877 509.
The caller identified themselves as Guringai Tribal Link Aboriginal Corporation director Laurie Bimson. The initial threats happened before I could get near my computer. This is just the latest threat from these people, and it is concerning.
Just getting this out just in case anything happens...

Ron Hubbard(alike) Mr Warren Whitfield, Ms Tracey-Lee Howie and a slew of ne’er-do-wells outwardly presenting as community minded, Culturally informed Knowledge Holders when in reality they are nothing of the sort.
Demonstrating outright disregard for truth, zero accountability, and a racialised disdain for genuine Aboriginal People, Culture and Places; it seems certain these people will not stop misrepresenting themselves as “traditional bloodline custodians.”

I use the terms Pseudo-Aboriginal, and Pseudo-Aboriginality quite in bit this work, and it is worth laying out what these terms mean in relation to my work. As both appear to be without a current standard definition, I will endeavour to set a clearer definition for you dear readers.The prefix pseudo- (from Greek ψευδής, pseudes, “false”) is used to mark something that superficially appears to be (or behaves like) one thing, but is something else. Subject to context, pseudo may connote coincidence, imitation, intentional deception, or a combination thereof.
When I employ the term Pseudo-Aboriginal, I am referring to Culturally inauthentic, deceptive portrayal of their own flawed interpretations of Aboriginal People, History, and Culture.
Similar terms already in the lexicon are black cladding (businesses passing themselves off as Aboriginal Owned/Operated),and box-tickers (claiming Aboriginality for individual benefit)
I choose to use Pseudo-Aboriginal to describe the activities of Guringai Tribal Link Aboriginal Corporation and affiliates as it encompasses both of the above, as well as the use of pseudo-scholarship by Warren Whitfield, Dr Geoff Ford and many, more ‘Guringai’ devotees.
