At Gurney's Inn, Lyle cleans up and changes into the resort's "leisure wear." Flo notes how inappropriate his sweatsuit's color–peach–is for TV.  Riding back to the motel, Flo tells Lyle he had a near death experience driving past the site of his deadly crash and Lyle shares personal details about the incident. At the motel taproom/TV set, bartender Rooney is upset–the shoot will ruin his business–but Lyle gets him happily paid off. Then Lyle spots the object of his desire being made up for her on-camera interview: Silk.
