This week is a slightly mixed bag. We start with a classic Civil Rights anthem from Sly Johnson before a slab of funk from Hampton Hawes, Paul Jackson and The Gators. Then as a precursor to an upcoming P-Funk Special, we focus on 1978 with tunes from The Brides Of Funkinstien, Quazar, Parliament, Bootsy & Funkadelic. We finish with tunes from Omh Guru, Romare & The Velvet Underground & Nico.
