Savvy: 5th of the 5 ACTS of Gutsy Grace Leadership™

In this final episode in the series of the ACTS of Gutsy Grace Leadership, we'll wrap up our conversation on authenticity, community, tenacity and strategy with our last act: Savvy.

How do you show up with wisdom as a leader, knowing just what to do and how to do it? That's we're going to talk about today. 

As a young leader, I just wanted a rule book, to tell me what should do and not do in all of the various situations I faced. But I've since learned that you're dealing with unique people every situation and solution is also unique. There is no one-way of leadership...and that's where savvy steps in!

 

Take Action:You can ask Holy Spirit for guidance --there's one with greater wisdom that can show you a better way. I encouraging you to take some time today, ask the Lord to show you how you can serve Him by serving his people in a better, deeper way. If you invite Him on your leadership journey, well, He's going to show up!

Strategy: 4th of the 5 ACTS of Gutsy Grace Leadership™

If you're going to lead with gutsy grace, then you're going to need a strategy, my friend.

People ask me, "How can you get so excited about strategy? It seems boring to me. It's so rigid." Listen, strategy is simply your success path. That's all it is. It's a roadmap to success -- who wouldn't want a roadmap to success?

In this episode, I'm sharing my Cupcake Strategy with you -- if you can make cupcakes, you can develop strategic leadership! We'll also break down 4 more strategies that can make your life and leadership so much simpler!

Take Action:Identify one  project that you've been thinking about working on right now. Audit your strategy -- does it have any missing parts that you can address to make it more effective?

Tenacity: 3rd of the 5 ACTS of Gutsy Grace Leadership™

In this episode, I'm going to reveal the secret sauce no one told you about that is going to be absolutely necessary for you to be an effective leader for years and years to come: Tenacity! We're also going to uncover the 3 temptations that will kill your leadership tenacity (and how to resist them!)

It's often said that leadership is a marathon. I don't think it's a marathon. I've heard other people say that it's a sprint. I think it includes sprints, but I don't think it's a sprint. I believe that leadership is a marathon of sprints. The pace may change, but you still stay steady and moving forward as a leader all. of. the. time!

 

Take Action: I hope you'll take a few minutes to think about any areas that maybe you've been feeling like giving up, giving in, or maybe you feel like you're giving out. Identify one thing that can get you back on track, and take bold action toward it.

Community-Building: 2nd of the 5 ACTS of Gutsy Grace Leadership™

The further along you go in your leadership journey, you'll find that your personal circle broadens with more and more acquaintances, but it can shrink with intimate relationships. Being intentional about community-building keeps your most important relationships strong. 

In this episode, we discuss the five communities that you must connect in if you want to grow your leadership influence exponentially. 

 

Take Action: Take a few moments to identify which community you need to build stronger and reach out to someone to begin today!

Authenticity: 1st of the 5 ACTS of Gutsy Grace Leadership™

Do you have those moments where you feel frustrated in your leadership, you feel like things just aren't going the way you want, or you expected? If so, take a pause and check your authenticity. See if you're really leading in the way that you're most comfortable leading, in the way that you're at your highest capacity, if you're leading the way that God has created you to lead. If not, you may have tripped over one of the obstacles we're discussing in today's episode.

Take Action:  If you want to lead to your highest, fullest potential, then you have to show up as truly the person that God created you to be and lead in the way that He is showing you to lead. Take 15 minutes and list your greatest traits as a leader and a few more you aspire to attain to show up as the best leader you can be.

Well, that was a long and unexpected intermission. Wasn't it? Thank you if you reached out to me after hearing the trailer and the first episode, wondering what in the world happened? Where did I go? And will I be back?

Well, the lights are blinking, intermission is over, and we're back!
