Hello and welcome episode 88 of Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.
In this episode, I am joined by Brendan Turnbull.
Brendan owns Rise Up Restorations. A car restoration company operating out of Corowa in NSW.
In this episode, we got to learn where Brendan grew up and what he enjoyed doing as a kid.
We got to hear how he signed himself out of school and started in a panel shop and built himself up to a point where he felt comfortable enough to open his own business after a lot of pressure from colleagues.
Brendan told us how daunting it was to kick the business off and the help he had along the way to ease the pressure of buying good quality gear to begin with.
It was really cool to sit down and hear Brendan's story and learn about how he made the changes in his career to be able to work on the cars and projects that he loves and is truly passionate about.
So please enjoy this episode with Brendan Turnbull of Rise Up Restorations on Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.

Hello and welcome episode 87 of Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.
In this episode, I am joined by James Churches.
James owns and operates Guilty Apparel, which is a clothing company centred around board sports such as skateboarding and snowboarding.
While this might seem a little off brand for the podcast, I still think there is a lot in this episode that you can all benefit from.
James and I got to talk about the social media strategies that he uses to help run his business and grow his brand as well as some of the truly successful people he looks up to and takes queues from in business.
We also got to talk about concussions, broken bones, and getting up to mischief as a kid growing up in our nation's capital.
I had such an awesome time getting to know James and getting a feeling for the passion he has for board sports and the drive he has to get behind and grow his business to a global scale.
So please enjoy this episode with James Churches on Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.

Hello and welcome episode 86 of Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.
In this episode, I am joined by Tony Bishop.
You would have probably heard Tony's voice if you've watched the Hi-Tech drifting livestreams, the World Time Attack livestream, if you've been to Keep it reet or drift cadet events or even if you've watched one of the drift demo's at Summernats.
In this episode, I got to learn about Tony's introduction to Japanese cars in the early naughties and how that was the gateway drug for his drift habit.
We got to speak about drivers he looked up to when he started out and how important they were to him in his early days.
Tony has an important message that he wanted to talk about in this episode, and I was more than happy to let him take the floor because his message is so important and just listening along as he told his story had me in awe of how well he could talk about such a heavy hitting subject.
I truly had a great time getting know Tony and really getting a feel for the passion he has for drift, motorsport, and car culture in general and I am positive that you will all love this one.
So please enjoy this episode with Tony Bishop on Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.

Hello and welcome episode 85 of Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.
In this episode, I am joined by Jake Jones, more affectionately known as Drift Squid.
I would firstly like to thank Jake for putting up my professionalism as I battled with technical issues and fumbling with technology like I've never used it before.... It's been a little while since I've used the tech i needed to use for this episode... With that said, I ran into a weird issue where I had an audio loop at the start, and I didn't pick it up until about 20 minutes in... So the audio at the start is a little ordinary, but I did catch it and got it sorted.
In this episode, Jake and I got to talk about his time with Team Orange and how that came about.
We talked about the build of his RBM3 E92 BMW M3 powered by an RB26 that revs to 10k!
We also spoke about the drivers he looked up to when he started out and how helpful they were in his formative years.
I had such an awesome time getting to know Jake, and I'm pretty sure that you will, too.
So please enjoy this episode with Jake Jones on Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.

Welcome episode 83 of Gutter 2 Gutter podcast.
In this episode, I am joined by Michael Kelly, more affectionately known as Mickey Moo.
I was lucky enough to get Mick in for a face to face sit down only 2 days before he moved back home to Ireland.
In this episode, we got to talking about how Mick ended up moving to Australia and how the whole process went down for him.
We got to chat about how he started out in Drifting and his journey in Australian drift to date.
Mick went on to tell us about an opportunity of a lifetime to go and compete in the Oman International Drift Championship in 2023 and also how the logistics of competing overseas works.
I had such an awesome time getting to know Mick and I am absolutely certain that will too.

On my end we got to chat about the latest advancements in the Drift truck saga and just generally caught up on a lot of stuff that I otherwise don't really get to.

In this episode I am joined by Jack Merrett.
Jack shares some of his stories from growing up on a farm with zero interest in farming at all and tells us about how minitrucks ended up in the small Country Victorian town of Kaniva.
Jack and I talked about his start in the world of minitrucks as well as his growing collection of Iconic trucks from early on in the scene.
We got to chat about his passion project, Lumberjack Creative and how it started out vs how it's going now.
We did have a couple of issues to contend with in this episode from a fair delay at times to a failed audio upload. If I have done my job right, you hopefully should not be able to notice it too much.
I had an awesome time getting to know Jack in this episode and I hope all enjoy his story.
