Join the Gutter Geeks as they visit with Scott Ahern to chat about Caught in the Backrooms!
Caught in the Backrooms is a dark, gritty RPG, based around the Creepypasta Backrooms. Developed with heavy inspiration from the Backrooms, the creators strived to make the feel as close to the legends that surround this evil, creepy world.  The game was designed by Al Seeger and Chad O. Knight.
Point of Insanity Game Studio has its roots in the breakup of Lasaion Games back in 2004. Al's return to the world of RPG design took the form of a game called MADS, which was intended to convert characters from any set of rules into a common system. The main purpose of this system was for fans of Demon's Lair (the only product line released by Lasalion Games) to continue to use their characters. Al would go on to write several systemless game world settings, system neutral products, and original game systems.

Last Hope LARP visits to talk to us about what they do and where they do it. We must have angered them this year. They killed the hosts, cameraman and then burned the set to the ground. That’s the last time we offer them the wrong kind of beer.

Last Hope is a live action role play (LARP) that is hosted at locations throughout Wisconsin with one goal in mind; to bring role players together in an immersive, high quality and rich environment with rules that are simple enough for anyone to learn and involved enough for veteran players.

Sometimes it seems like the gaming community is the most toxic group of people ever to crawl out from under a rock. Next time you feel that way stop, take a minute (or 15) and watch this amazing duo of interviews with gamers making a positive impact. Heck, even Mel and Larry are sober. Can't beat that.
