Money had absolutely zero reason to come on our podcast other than to help out us up and comers. He could not have been more gracious with his time and knowledge. A true pro! Have you ever had a friend find out about a party you threw that they weren't invited to? Has that ever happened live while recording a podcast? Well, it did to Jeff. On this week's Best Of Guys In Shorts episode we look back to our first episode of 2018. We look back and discuss our best and worsts of 2017. During the course of that discussion it is revealed that Jeff threw a New Year's party that Hammer didn't get an invite to. It was a fun episode and still one of our favorites!

For this week's "Best of Guys In Shorts" episode, we went back to one of our favorite interviews when we got to talk to former Galaxy and U.S. Men's National Team player Eddie Lewis! This was a huge thrill for all of us, especially lifelong soccer fans Hammer and Vic. In this candid talk, Eddie discusses his long career as a pro athlete, from playing on his club team as a kid in Southern California, to playing overseas in Europe. Eddie shares his experiences and how he's implementing all he learned into his life today. A fascinating interview with a truly great guy.

Way back in episode 7 of Guys In Shorts, Lakers legend Kobe Bryant retired. That episode we dedicated to the Mamba with favorite moments of his career, stories from his time with the purple and gold and some of the incredible stats that he posted. It was a fun episode that is great to relive all this time later.

On this week's "Best Of" we decided to go all the way back to the beginning and revisit our first episode. This was our first experience in podcasting but right out of the gate you can hear the seeds of what would become the Guys In Shorts signature banter. We introduce ourselves and discuss a few of the headlines. Take this trip down memory lane with us... just remember, we get a lot better!

In this "Best Of" episode, the guys draft their "All Los Angeles Teams." The goal being to put together the best 5 players historically from Los Angeles. This sparked some great discussion about our beloved LA athletes and is one of the guys favorite episodes. Special bonus is getting to hear some out dated sports takes like "Luke Walton would never take the Lakers head coaching job."

On this week's episode the guys break down the Rams dominant season, the Lakers trending in the right direction, plus USC and UCLA! Also up for discussion are "Favorite Rivalry's In All Of Sports! The guys discuss both the obvious and not so obvious ones. Regardless of how you feel about it, when the rest of the world feels like it's falling apart, it's great we have our sports!

This past week of sports in Los Angeles saw the Dodgers lock up Kershaw for another 3 years, Magic call Luke Walton to his office for a meeting that was immediately overblown and the Rams undefeated season come to an end in New Orleans. All while Joe Buck announced literally every televised sports broadcast. The guys break it all down and give their thoughts! Plus they dust off the old "hate couch" and discuss things that have way more popularity than they deserve!

The 2018 baseball season is officially over. Although it didn't end the way Dodger fans would have preferred, there is still plenty to take away and lots to be optimistic about looking ahead to next season. The guys give their thoughts on the Fall Classic and why it'd be ridiculous to fire Dave Roberts. If that wasn't enough the Galaxy's playoff run got squashed before it even started. Luckily it's not all bad news! The Rams are 8-0 and sports writer Jay Paris calls in to talk about his new book on Shohei Ohtani!

After a show two week hiatus the guys are back and ready to talk LA sports! A lot's happened since last week spoke! The guys discuss the Dodgers/Red Sox World Series match up and give their takeaways from Game 1. The NBA season has started and the LeBron era Lakers has started and they're officially the best 0-3 Lakers team we've seen! All that plus, the Rams are 7-0, the Raiders are terrible and the Galaxy still have a fighting chance at a playoff run! That's an exciting week of LA sports right there!
