  • Enough 2 Keep Going Episode #23 - The Playlist Show (Nov2017 - Part1)
Welcome back, everybody, for yet another eXciting ride on the gaming discussion train. Tonight is a dry run at one of the new formats we are experimenting with as we continue to work our craft and try and tweak the show to best suit what YOU, the viewer and listener, are looking for!
So what we are considering is dedicating two of the (typically) four shows a month solely to our playlists. Now, it isn't that simple. What we are really talking about is dedicating two of the shows to a discussion of the gameplay experience and game design from the user perspective. A lot of the times, our discussion topics are about the industry and the business and the individual companies (developers) and corporations (publishers). Sometimes, they are about social and legal matters. And sometimes preparing for those shows prevents us from the doing the very thing that propels us to do the show in the first place: play games. And talk about the games.
So we'll still be covering those other topics too, because those other elements are what make up the gaming culture and the community we love to be a part of. But at least twice a month, we want to make sure we kick back with our favorite nightly podcast drink and just talk about what we love or don't love about what we're playing. Let us know if this works for YOU!

  • Parlipod #74: DOOMSDAY CLOCK
What's the deal with Pickles anyway? We start off the show with a debate over the creative merits of Rick and Morty. With John being a big fan and Dave never bothering to watch an episode citing it's Back to the Future influence as a hurdle. Next up, does Marvel Legacy succeed in creating a new status quo for their characters? We discuss Captain America #695 (5;20) and Punisher #218 (13:40) and let you know if the House of Ideas is building a strong foundation. After the break we review Demon "Hell Is Earth" #1 (28:02) and Doomsday Clock #1 (37:10) from DC Comics. The art on the Demon proves to be a divisive topic between the hosts while Doomsday Clock could be an event that defines a generation. Just how good is this Watchmen sequel? Tune in and find out!
