GWW Radio

On this week’s lunch break, we talk about all the stuff we got up to this weekend. Surprisingly enough Matt actually played some video games. We fear he may have a real problem, but as long as he is happy does that really matter?! We also make time to mention Westworld, Walking dead, plus Sweet Johnny G’s Switch.

After years of buildup, the day has finally arrived when Jake and Tom can watch Marvel’s “The Defenders”! Listen in as they’re joined by their friends Jon Stump and “Project: Archivist” host, Rojen Razorwire!

Find out what the guys liked, what might not have worked for them, and if the entire concept of a “cinematic universes” is doomed to failure. Along the way, the guys discuss the not-so-obvious legacy of a comedic legend, as well as news from the movie star Jake loves to hate!

As always, be sure to help Jake & Tom in their quest for global domination by rating them highly on iTunes, sharing their stuff on social media, and by telling your Android using friends to listen to them on the Amazing And FREE Couch Party App, available exclusively on the Google Play Store!

Don’t forget to follow them on Twitter and Facebook, and if you’re stuck in a cubicle, support their internet radio partners Geeks Worldwide, The Podfix Network & Slings, Flings and Dingalings.

And last, but certainly not least, to get more of Roejen, listen to him every week at Project: Archivist!

John and Dave find themselves arguing over the virtues of Kite-Man yet again during our Batman #30 review. Secret Empire #10 also sneaks into our lives as John finds the series finale laughable while Dave defends the series as a whole. We also give you the skinny on Kingsman: The Red Diamond #1 from Image Comics. TUNE IN for your comics fix!

We cover the prologue issues to the Marvel event: SIEGE! First, we recap how we got here, from 2004 all the way through the end of Dark Reign! Then, Norman Osborne shores up his cabal, Loki conspires for war on Asgard, Taskmaster's never ending kegger finally comes to an end, and Doctor Doom gets revenge without having to show up at all! We also continue our season of Superhero Big Brother, with Typhoid Mary as HOH anything could happen!

We take a break from our usual lineup to cover FLASHPOINT! This is the DC Event that kicked off modern continuity with the New 52. Barry Allan, The Flash, wakes up in an alternate reality on the brink of world war with no powers, no good memories, no girlfriend, and immediately goes to get beat up by Batman. It only gets weirder from there! Don't miss this one!

This time, the Two Girls and their mic talk about the Game of Thrones Season 7 finale and how incest seems fine if it's not your sibling. Then they dig through the DCEU rumor bucket. Finally, they talk about the fall and all its pumpkin spiced glory. Add a ton of crazy and you have Two Girls One Mic
