Uchral, Nyam-Osor, was appointed as Minister of Digital Development and Communications by Order No. 143 of the Prime Minister of Mongolia dated August 30, 2022.
Uchral.N was born as the eldest son of Nyam-Osor of Namsrai and Tsetsegmaa Jambal.
His father, Nyam-Osor.N, a native of Batshireet Sum, Khentii Province, is an Honored People's Teacher of Mongolia, Doctor of History, and his mother, Tsetsegmaa.J, a native of Zuungov Sum, Uvs Province, is an Honored Teacher of Mongolia, Doctor of History.
His parents founded "Khunnu" LLC in 1992, and "Ikh Zasag" University in 1994, one of the first private universities in Mongolia and one of the TOP 5 universities in Mongolia.
Currently, "Ikh Zasag" University has more than 7,000 students, 2 complex schools and 10 branch schools. "Khunnu" LLC started its business with the first independent Mongolian publication "Zar Bichig" and the first 24-hour convenience store, and now it is engaged in business in the field of tourism, hospitality, and education. People of Mongolia support Uchral.N's father as a debt-free businessman who started from zero without any support from the state and achieved today's success through his hard work. Nyam-Osor.N took a leading role in the democratic revolution and was one of the founders of the "Mongolian National Progress Party", which formed the Democratic Party. In 1994-2004, he actively participated in political life and founded the "Mongolian National Unity Party" and served as its chairman.
