This video discusses the importance of purpose as a foundation for a well-lived life, and examines the dangers of losing oneself, and one's sense of purpose. In Gye Nyame we believe a person should ask themselves at all times "Am I here for a purpose?" and the answer to that question should always be yes whether you are in a relationship, running a business or working a 9 to 5. The alternative is to suffer from feelings of despair, self-loathing or even hatred towards those around you even though you don't realize it. Purposeless people are very hard on themselves but they are even harder on others around them. This can be very hard for family members who love the person but may not understand why things have come to this point. Not everyone has what it takes to build something great so they can end up in destructive situations if they don't have someone who understands their situation and helps guide them.
