교회의 사역목표 (3): 동역자로 세워지며
Equipped for the Work of Ministry
에베소서 (Ephesians) 4:11-16 [새번역/ESV]
11 그분이 어떤 사람은 사도로, 어떤 사람은 예언자로, 어떤 사람은 복음 전도자로, 또 어떤 사람은 목사와 교사로 삼으셨습니다.
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,
12 그것은 성도들을 준비시켜서, 봉사의 일을 하게 하고, 그리스도의 몸을 세우게 하려고 하는 것입니다.
to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,
13 그리하여 우리 모두가 하나님의 아들을 믿는 일과 아는 일에 하나가 되고, 온전한 사람이 되어서, 그리스도의 충만하심의 경지에까지 다다르게 됩니다.
until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
14 우리는 이 이상 더 어린아이로 있어서는 안됩니다. 우리는 인간의 속임수나, 간교한 술수에 빠져서, 온갖 교훈의 풍조에 흔들리거나, 이리저리 밀려다니지 말아야 합니다.
so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
15 우리는 사랑으로 진리를 말하고 살면서, 모든 면에서 자라나서, 머리가 되시는 그리스도에게까지 다다라야 합니다.
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,
16 온 몸은 머리이신 그리스도께 속해 있으며, 몸에 갖추어져 있는 각 마디를 통하여 연결되고 결합됩니다. 각 지체가 그 맡은 분량대로 활동함을 따라 몸이 자라나며 사랑 안에서 몸이 건설됩니다.
from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
