WE'RE BACK, BACK, BACK, BACK, BACK AGAIN.

I know, right? 

Hiatuses galore.  The Hiatus Podcast.  But we did one and it's cool and it's a video game book club and you're gonna like it. 

It's been eighty-four years,  but we're back at it!  

This week, we talk about music in video games; the second in an extremely long-awaited series!  Obviously, we talk about Undertale, but we also talk about Splatoon, Cyberpunk, and Ori 2.  

Forgive us once again for an unplanned hiatus, and accept this humble episode on good game music as a token of our contrition.  In this week's episode, we talk about the music of Super Mario Galaxy, the Halo franchise, and Breath of the Wild.  

Get ready for something of a mega-sode!  This week, we're talking about masculinity as it is represented in video games & their development, and how people who were raised to be masculine interact with these games.

We're back, and terribly sorry for our little hiatus!  On our first remotely recorded episode, we talk about that one game - ya know, the desert island pick.  Or... just a hypothetical, the game you'd play over, and over again if you were relegated to your home for weeks on end.

This week, we learn that Mike & Juan are gluttons for both punishment and From Software games - it's Souls time, baby!

Of course we're talking about Animal Crossing: New Horizons this week!  Also, bonus minigame  for this episode: count how many times we mention tanuki testicles (hint: it's way, way more times than we should have)!

This week, we talk about Pokémon!  We laughed, we loved, and we learned that Pokémon is a vast, vast franchise that is incredibly difficult to look back on inside of an hour.  

In this episode, we talk about the Sonic franchise!  We got beefs, we've got bouquets, and Shadow the Hedgehog has a gun. 

This week, we talk about the femme fatale character and femininity in video games, and the influence these characters and concepts had on your esteemed cohosts.
