Habby Hour!

The trio is back at it this week with your Habs news! Will the boys ever leave Lehkonen alone? What's this about Teasdale? The Petrys did WHAT? Lehky LOVES Pleky! Sweet Baby Eagle misses hockey and there are some talented fans among the Habs base! All this, and excessive talk of travel plans for the Habby Hour this upcoming season! Montreal? Vancouver? Florida?? Find out if we end up near you! All this, and more, in this week's episode! August 22, 2019.

Veronica is back! And we have a guest join us! Sean Campbell from TSN690 joins us on the podcast from a brewery to talk Habs hockey with us. We concentrated mostly on the d-corps, but also veered into other areas as well, like, the Atlanta Thrashers??? A lot of content about Weber (obviously), some updates on Plekanec, and also a little bit on Suzuki! There is also some words said about our dearly beloved Dutch Gretzky. All that and more on this week's episode! August 15, 2019.

We're back! Unfortunately Veronica was not able to join us, but we did have a guest! Calling in all the way from the United Kingdom was Caitlin Berry! She is an ardent follower of the prospect pools around the league, keeping tabs on the upcoming draft, and beyond! She shared her insights on the recent Summer Showcase and the Hlinka Gretzky Cup. Can you name who stood out to her? Listen to find out! August 8, 2019.

Ever wanted to know a bit more about Jordan Weal? This is the episode to listen to! We highlight him as our player of the week, and talk about the sole piece of news to come out of Habs land as another player is signed! We take some time to talk about the Kraft Hockeyville game that the Habs are taking part in once the season gets under way, but for the most part? The off season is definitely here! Have you ever been curious about our eating habits? Listen in! July 25, 2019.

Another week has passed in free agency and despite us mentioning it on Twitter, there was ZERO movement from the Habs!  So, what did we end up talking about?  Some supposed drama between JJD and Alzner, the coaching staff in general, what the absence of Shaw means for the Habs, but most importantly...  Our player of the week!  None other than Jesperi Kotkaniemi!  July 18, 2019.

Nothing happened!  Then Twitter went down!  And then???  The Habs Finnished.  Two players were signed for contracts today, leaving only another couple of RFAs to sort out before the start of the season.  We can be sure that this is not the last of Bergevin's moves as the off season continues.  We discuss this, and, disclaimer, a LOT else that doesn't have anything to do with hockey!  The dog days of the off season have come, so prepare for a lot more than hockey in this episode of the Habby Hour!  July 11, 2019.

It's the first week of free agency and WHAT a week the Habs had!  For better or for worse, depending on how you're getting your information!  Some Habs have left, and new Habs came in, all of which pales in comparison over the main story of the week with Sebastian Aho.  Listen in to hear our takes on (most?) of the deals that the Habs made so far this week!  July 5th, 2019.

With the draft behind us we can all start looking forward to the camps during the summer, and eventually, a new season of Habs hockey!  As such, this is the beginning of the third season of the Habby Hour and we start it off with a guest in Sean Gordon!  One of the gifted writers from The Athletic, Mr. Gordon shares some of his insights on the draft and some behind the scenes moments in Vancouver.  We also talk about the recent development camp for the new players, the current state of hockey, and if there's any meat to the rumors surrounding Duchene's visit to Montreal.  All this and more in this episode of the Habby Hour!  June 27, 2019.

Welcome to the season finale!  This is our second episode this week and we wanted to bring on an expert regarding the draft.  Thankfully, Grant McCagg was able to accommodate us!  He is a former scout for the Montreal Canadiens and the head of Recrutes.ca where he sells his draft guide to the needy masses!  Mr. McCagg took our questions and gave us some much needed insight on the draft and his opinions on some of the players currently on the roster.  That and we bemoaned AirBnb!  June 20, 2019.

As mentioned on Twitter the Habby Hour will be releasing two episodes this week, and we have special guests for each one!  The first guest for the week is a staple of the Montreal Canadiens' presence at home.  The experience would simply be not the same without him.  He brings a wealth of knowledge to the podcast, and has some interesting thoughts on the trajectory of the team!  The voice of the Montreal Canadiens, Michel Lacroix!  June 19,2019.
