Building new habits or deleting old habits is pretty easy once you learn the "trick" or, really, just the skill.


You can only change when you can imagine yourself doing the thing you want. The more you tell yourself that thing is difficult, the harder it becomes to accomplish.


Start by setting that new identity. Tell yourself you are that new thing, even if you're a bad version of it right now. Then modify your habits to begin to match that identity.
